B.A.S.S. Announces 2025 Bassmaster Elite Series Roster: What Anglers Need to Know
The wait is over—B.A.S.S. has officially revealed the 104-angler lineup for the 2025 Bassmaster Elite Series, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most competitive seasons yet. With seven former Bassmaster Classic champions and eight Angler of the Year (AOY) winners, the field is stacked with talent.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there. The rookie class is headlined by Easton Fothergill, who dominated the 2024 Bassmaster Opens with two wins and clinched the Elite Qualifiers points title. Joining him are other standout newcomers, including Cody Meyer, Tucker Smith, Paul Marks, Emil Wagner, Andrew Loberg, Dakota Ebare, Beau Browning, and Evan Kung.
Adding even more star power, Randy Howell and Cliff Pace, both former Classic champions, will compete under Legends exemptions.
Elite Series Format
The 2025 Elite Series features a three-phase structure:
• Days 1 & 2: All 104 anglers compete.
• Semifinal Round: The field is narrowed to the Top 50.
• Championship Day: Only the Top 10 battle it out for the title and a $100,000 first-place prize.
Tournament Schedule
The season kicks off February 20-23 on Florida’s legendary St. Johns River, known for producing giant bass and dramatic weigh-ins. From there, the anglers will travel to six additional states, vying not only for event titles but also for the coveted AOY crown and a spot in the 2026 Bassmaster Classic.
